Based in Keighley, West Yorkshire
Daniel’s training as an archaeologist forms the background for his photographic work which considers the rich textures, patterns and colours evident in many everyday objects both natural and artificial; details often unseen or overlooked at first glance. Images are extracted and isolated from its original context. Unfamiliar and surreal landscapes are generated which acquire newly discovered perspectives and narratives.
